Krk Rokit Powered 6 Generation 2 Studio Monitor (Each)
KRK's Rokit G2 (Generation 2) powered studio monitor is designed to give amazing performance and accuracy for the home or project studio. The G2 Rokit has radically curved edges which virtually eliminate diffraction and provide a wider sweet spot. The Rokit G2 also features a great looking cabinet with a front-firing bass port and KRK's trademark yellow glass-aramid composite woofer and soft-domed tweeters. Dual high-power amplifiers in each speaker and active crossovers provide smooth and accurate reproduction. The Rokit monitor has the most accurate response curve in its class ensuring that you hear all of the details in your mix. The KRK RokitG2 Series takes value-priced monitors to a new performance level. All of the great stuff that Rokit's have been known for (front-firing bass port, soft-domed tweeter, glass-aramid composite yellow cone) are still there, but the G2 Rokit's feature refined voicing and a new curved baffle that looks great, reduces diffraction and provides even better monitoring accuracy. Welcome to the all new Generation 2 Rokit Powered Studio Monitor Series from KRK Systems. For years the Rokit series has been a popular choice for accurate monitoring in studios large and small. Now the all new Generation 2 Rokit studio monitor provides a new standard for even better performance and accuracy, raising the bar once again. No Pain With Gain Why compromise gain structure to achieve a comfortable listening level? As musicians and recording people themselves, KRK asked that question too. So each Generation 2 Rokit monitor comes with an Input Volume Control that provides an adjustable gain range from +6dB to -30dB. Just another way the Rokit lets you focus on your mix, and not on compatibility concerns. Catch A Wave, For A 3D Mix Recessed tweeters may look the same, but they don't perform the same. KRK has designed a superior tweeter wave guide for the Rokit that provides optimal high frequency pattern control and focuses the sound outward, away from the cabinet. More conventional designs direct sound along the plane of the cabinet where waveform interaction can cause phase problems and increased diffraction. KRK knows a properly engineered high frequency wave guide is a critical component to great sound, and one key to KRK's award winning performance. You've Got Connections At KRK, the focus is your mix. But it doesn't stop at creating accurate monitors. KRK appreciates the need for monitors that not only sound great but work easily into your particular setup. That's why you'll find plenty of input options with your Rokit, sure to accommodate any studio environment. So if it's RCA, quarter-Inch (balanced/unbalanced) or XLR inputs you require, Rockit has got you covered. Even More Accurate Than Before KRK took a great monitor series and made it better. KRK's engineers and listening panel took the Generation 2 Rokit's speaker voicing to even more accurate levels. What you hear is what you are intended to hear, colora

Adam Audio A8x Powered Monitor
With its power and radiation characteristics, the ADAM Audio A8X Powered Monitor is suitable for both nearfield and midfield monitoring. With a price/performance ratio that could hardly be better, this monitor is a perfect entry into these monitoring fields. The A8X is equipped with the X-ART tweeter and a large (8.5") midwoofer, a combination that adds both a very deep and yet very tight bass response to the unsurpassed reproduction qualities of the ADAM proprietary tweeter: a licence to thrill. Cabinet- and bass reflex-construction Like the other AX-Series models, the upper corners of the A8X are slanted to minimize reflections. The very large, double bass reflex tubes on the front have been specifically designed to perfectly match the midwoofer with its large voice coil. Amplification and controls With a 50W A/B amplifier for the tweeter and a 150W PWM amplifier for the midwoofer, the A8X has power in abundance and is the brawny monitor of the AX-Series. On the rear panel are several controls: a gain for the high frequencies ( 4dB) and two shelf filters for the high and low frequencies. There are both XLR (balanced) and RCA (unbalanced) connectors on the rear panel of the speaker, which allow the A8X to be used in almost any application.X-ART Technology The X-ART (eXtended Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeters and midranges incorporate a new approach to the Air Motion Transformer concept originally developed by Dr. Oskar Heil. ADAM Audio has improved upon this splendid idea utilizing superior geometries and materials to achieve unprecedented audio fidelity. X-ART strikes a new path concerning the kinematics of moving air, resulting in a dramatic improvement in the quality of audio reproduction. The X-ART membrane consists of a pleated diaphragm in which the folds compress or expand according to the audio signal applied to them. The result is that air is drawn in and squeezed out, like the bellows of an accordion. The ADAM X-ART design overcomes the piston-like motion of all conventional drivers and their inevitable problems by achieving an improvement in air loading by a factor of 4 over conventional transducers. To illustrate the basic principle by a comparison: When you breathe, your thorax is moving slowly whereas the air is moving comparably fast. Similarly, the X-ART diaphragm presses the air faster in or out of its folds than they themselves are moving. This markedly superior motor is responsible for the unprecedented clarity and pristine transient reproduction that can be heard with the ADAM X-ART drive units. In addition, the X-ART tweeters pleated membrane avoids the typical breakup/distortion and subsequent dynamic limiting at higher frequencies of stiffer voice coil designs, such as those found in dome and cone tweeters. Another positive result of the X-ART design is that the driving stripes are in direct contact with the outer air and are cooled immediately. Pulse Width Modulation PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) sometimes referred

Adam Audio Adam Audio A7x Powered Monitor
More than 30 glowing reviews, numerous awards, and countless dedicated fans made the A7, the predecessor of this new model, a true legend in nearfield monitoring. Now, the legend continues with the A7X: All drivers, all amplifiers, as well as the cabinet have been revised, resulting in a speaker that claims nothing less but to be a new benchmark in nearfield monitoring. Driver technology The first aspect that distiguishes the old from the new model is the X-ART tweeter. The X stands for eXtended frequency response and thus for one of the features of the Accelerating Ribbon Technology that has been drastically improved: the frequency response. It now extends all the way up to 50kHz. In addition, the X-ART tweeter has a higher efficiency and higher maximum sound pressure levels. The perfect integration with the lower frequencies has been achieved with a newly designed 7 midwoofer. It has been redesigned with a much bigger voice coil (1.5) and is driven by an amplifier with twice the power compared to its predecessor. This combination produces an amazing sound and pressure levels with an almost distortion-free musical reproduction. Amplifiers / controls Each driver has its own dedicated amplifier. A 50W A/B amp is responsible for the X-ART tweeter, while the midwoofer is being driven by a 100W PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) amp. The front panel includes a power switch and a control for the volume that retains the volume setting independently from the on/off switch. On the rear panel of the A7X are several additional controls: a gain for the high frequencies ( 4dB) and two shelf filters for high and low frequencies. To ensure greater compatibility, there are both XLR (balanced) and RCA (unbalanced) connectors.X-ART Technology The X-ART (eXtended Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeters and midranges incorporate a new approach to the Air Motion Transformer concept originally developed by Dr. Oskar Heil. Krk Rokit Powered 10-3 Monitor System
The Rokit Powered 10-3 monitor is a state-of-the-art three-way design and provides an unsurpassed level of power, performance and accuracy. Most professional and commercial facilities offer clients a broad choice of Studio monitors, from near-to mid, or even main field systems to ensure that their mixing translates well across playback systems. In some studio environments one monitoring system might have to do it all: the ability to generate huge sound pressure levels when the music and clients demand it, yet maintain the clarity and transparency of a professional studio monitor. The Rokit Powered 10-3 delivers the power, accuracy and clarity demanded in these situations. The Rokit Powered 10-3 is a Mid-field 3-way monitor system enclosed in a compact form factor. This suits commercial facilities in need of compact mid-field solution as well as private, or project studios wanting to step up to a new level of performance and value. The high SPL output allows it to reproduce challenging high dynamic tracks for all genres of music. With space and placement of Mid-fields virtually always a concern in recording, mobile and broadcast facilities, the Rokit Powered 10-3 offers location flexibility by placing the tweeter and midrange in a unique rotatable housing. Whether they are vertical, placed on their side or wall mounted the proper orientation of the acoustic axis can be maintained. Cabinet placement allows for a generous one- to four-meters (approximately three to 13-feet) for rated performance. Rokit monitors have radically curved front surfaces which prevent the problems caused by traditional rectangular speakers. Other products suffer from diffraction as sound waves leaving the edge of the cabinet are reflected back into the listening field causing phase distortion. The Rokit Powered 10-3 enclosure virtually eliminates diffraction and provides a wider, more natural sounding sweet spot. Take a look at other monitors and you'll find ports on the back of the cabinet. These rear-firing ports cause bass coupling problems with walls and corners, amplifying low frequency information, which will color your mix. The superior design of the Rokit Powered 10-3 features front-firing slotted ports, which are also shaped to reduce port turbulence. This combination ensures clean and accurate bass performance, even at high SPLs, without coupling issues. The careful tweeter design of dome and waveguide geometry coupled to the curved front baffle are optimized for on and off-axis linearity resulting in excellent imaging and a wider sweet spot. The Rokit Powered 10-3 has both Low and High Frequency level controls. This feature provides specific adjustment of both ends of the frequency spectrum output most commonly affected by room acoustics. These controls ensure the most accurate mix for your particular room's acoustics. Adam Audio A5X Powered Studio Monitor
A wealth of truly outstanding reviews and many awards helped to establish the original A5 speaker as one "of the best small monitors" and a "great choice for the small studio." (Future Music, 01/2009). The similar dimensions and name could make one believe that the A5X is nothing more than a new version of the A5. A quick listening however leaves no doubt that the A5X is much more than that. Like all other models of the AX-Series it features the proprietary X-ART tweeter. The very data of this technology shows that it is at the forefront of what tweeters can accomplish. Numerous listening tests have confirmed this.A 5.5" Midwoofer reproduces the frequencies below 2.5kHz. The diaphragm is made from Carbon fiber/Rohacell/Glass fiber, which is the same composite structure shared in the next two bigger models. This material with minimum weight and maximum rigidity prevents break up resonances, resulting in an outstanding dynamic behavior and impeccable sound characteristics. Stereolink A very handy and exclusive feature found in the two smaller AX monitors is the Stereolink. This is accomplished by a pair of additional RCA connections that allow for a bypass of the second stereo channel to the other speaker. This new technology connects two A5X speakers in such a manner as to allow the user the option to control the overall stereo volume of the system from either speakers gain control. This makes the A5X a natural for "mixer-less" desktop applications where overall system volume needs to be adjusted easily. Controls and Connectors The front of the A5X sports dual ports for surprisingly low frequency response down to 50Hz. The front panel also has power and gain controls. The rear panel includes a tweeter gain control as well as balanced (XLR) jacks and unbalanced (RCA) jacks, allowing for greater connection flexibility. There are also two M6 (6mm) metric strew threads for stand/wall mounting.X-ART Technology The X-ART (eXtended Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeters and midranges incorporate a new approach to the Air Motion Transformer concept originally developed by Dr. Oskar Heil. ADAM Audio has improved upon this splendid idea utilizing superior geometries and materials to achieve unprecedented audio fidelity. X-ART strikes a new path concerning the kinematics of moving air, resulting in a dramatic improvement in the quality of audio reproduction. Bosch TX1152FM EV 15 Inch 2 Way 500W Dedicated Vertical Floor Monitor
The compact Electro-Voice TX1152FM Tour-X is an ideal floor monitor for use on small to medium-sized stages and offers quality high output for vocal and instrument applications. This Electro-Voice monitor uses signal-synchronized transducers that align the woofer and compression driver by locating them on separate baffles, and integrates a low distortion port between the baffles. This offers tremendous advantages over traditional flat baffle construction: the acoustic centers of the woofer and compression driver are closer together, synchronizing arrival time; the voice coils of the compression driver and woofer are in the same plane, achieving linear phase response; and the size of both baffles are smaller than a single baffle; resulting in a smaller footprint. The Tour-X also utilizes the DH3, high output 1.25" titanium compression driver, coupled to a constant directivity 90° x 50° horn. The SMX2151 15" woofer has an FEA optimized magnet structure and shorting ring for ultralow distortion. The crossover uses steep 24 dB/octave slopes with equalization for very smooth response in vocal range, and has a built-in protection circuit for long term reliability. The combination of the transducers, enclosure, and crossover results in a compact floor monitor that is capable of very high output levels before feedback. The Electro-Voice TX1152FM monitor has a variety of features that make it suited for floor monitor use. The internally braced enclosure is constructed out of a combination of plywood and MDF, and coated with EVCoat for maximum strength and durability. The unique grille design is very strong and dent resistant, and features a rotatable logo. Four way handles allow for gripping the TX1152FM in a variety of positions. The recessed input panel with dual NL4 connectors is located on the rear of the enclosure, which keeps the connectors hidden and away from the performers on stage.

Behringer Truth B2030p Passive Monitor (Single)
Behringer makes TRUTH B2030P Reference Monitors to speak nothing but the truth. Because when it comes to your studio recordings, you want honesty. That's why Behringer TRUTH passive monitors sound great hooked up to your stereo or your video surround system, but they were really built with the studio in mindwhere every note you play or sing is under the microscope. Active vs. Passive Active monitors are designed to take all the guesswork out of matching speakers with amplifiers and crossover networks (among other things), and provide a "turnkey" solution for exceptional sound in the recording studio. Behringer makes them, loves them, and sells truckloads of them! But there is a place for passive studio monitors, too. Significant applications for passive monitors include surround-sound theater, stereo systems, computer workstations, etc. Or, maybe you have a stack of high-quality power amps just sitting around collecting dust. TRUTH B2030P passive studio monitors are a quantum leap from those bookshelf box speakers you may currently be using. Built on the Behringer Legacy The TRUTH B2030P has all the great features of the active TRUTH B2030A active monitor with one exception; you provide the amplification. Due to their high-resolution performance, B2030P active 2-way reference studio monitors are perfect for nearfield monitoring applications: from small mixing environments to multi-channel surround setups. Behringer TRUTH B2030A monitors have been so wildly successful that they've sold thousands upon thousands of them to some of the most critical ears on the planet. Don't Let the Size Fool You Despite its small size, the TRUTH B2030P provides ultra-linear frequency response from 75 Hz to 21 kHz. The internal crossover point is fixed at 2.3 kHz for optimal performance of the two-way system. And the B2030P can handle input levels up to 100 watts. Rock-Solid Bass Bookshelf-style home stereo speakers can really fool you when it comes to bass output, mainly because they are not designed for critical listening applications. That's why recording engineers and producers listen to projects through studio reference monitors or studio-grade headphones. The B2030P's long-throw 6.75" polypropylene-diaphragm woofer delivers smooth, deep bass all the way down to 75 Hz. Why the Polypropylene Woofer? Polypropylene is light and strong, enabling the speaker cone to respond very quickly to fast transient peaks. This low-mass cone material is also much stiffer than paper, important for not only maintaining bass content integrity, but critical for midrange accuracy and definition. The deformation-resistant aluminum die-cast chassis maintains suspension integrity and provides highly efficient voice-coil cooling, even under extreme operating conditions. Non-Fatiguing, Wide "Sweet Spot" B2030P's HF (High Frequency) content comes courtesy of an ultra high-resolution 0.75" ferrofluid-cooled tweeter mounted on Behringer's proprietary wave-guide. While some of Behringer's comp

Yamaha Hs7 Powered Studio Monitor
The Yamaha HS7 is a 2-way bass-reflex bi-amplified nearfield studio monitor with 6.5" cone woofer and 1" dome tweeter. The Yamaha HS-Series have the inherited universal mix-translation legacy and distinctive white cones of the industry-respected NS-10s, designed to deliver your mixes with transparent honesty. Room control and frequency response switches allow custom tailoring of the monitor's response to give you accurate performance in any environment. High-performance Speakers and Mounting SystemThe elegant white-cone speakers used in the HS-series monitors deliver superlative audio performance that is further enhanced by a carefully engineered mounting system. A system of screws and a specially designed mounting ring eliminates spurious vibration and resonance, allowing the speaker to deliver its full sonic potential. Another feature that boosts woofer performance is a magnet selected to produce accurate, solid low-end response. The tweeter frames employ an advanced smooth-contour design that minimizes losses so that high-frequency details come through with remarkable accuracy. The extra thickness of the tweeter frame also minimizes resonance that can interfere with high-end clarity. The overall result is extraordinarily smooth, accurate response throughout the audio spectrum. The Benefits of Built-in Power and Bi-amplification Powered, bi-amplified monitor speakers simply make the most electrical and sonic sense, and that's why they have become the first choice of sound professionals the world over for near- and mid-field monitoring applications. In addition to the obvious advantage that you don't need separate power amplifiers, the fact that power and speakers are integrated in one unit means that the amplifiers can be perfectly matched to the characteristics of the speaker units used so you get consistently superior performance with any source in just about any listening environment. Bi-amplification means that separate power amplifiers are used to drive the low-mid and high-frequency speaker units, and this eliminates interaction between the units as well as the response and phase anomalies introduced by passive crossover networks. Both speaker units can function at optimum performance levels for correspondingly high overall sonic quality. Large Magnets in an Advanced Magnetic Circuit DesignOne feature of the HS-series monitors that you'll hear but are not likely to see is the extra large magnets. In combination with an advanced magnetic circuit design these magnets provide a powerful, uniform, tightly controlled flux field that results in exceptionally smooth response and dynamic capability over a wider frequency range. Portable, Versatile Monitoring for Your Audio WorkstationAll you really need for top-class stereo production capability is a good audio workstation and a pair of HS-series monitors. A system like this is not only portable and extremely easy to set up anywhere you need it, it can deliver outstanding monitoring performance that w

Mackie Hr824mk2 Studio Monitor (2010)
The MackieA HR824mk2A high-resolution Active studio reference monitors represent the evolution of revolutionary thinking. A MackieA engineers, joined by audio gurus from EAW, worked hard to conceive of a way to preserve the all-important character of the original HR, while delivering performancea€"as well as appearancea€"thata€ s better than ever. And even moreso than the original HR824 and HR624, which were designed apart from each other, the HR824mk2 and HR624mk2 are part of the same family, true siblings in design and sound. Sharing the same engineering, they are created to work together, whether in surround systems, or as part of complementary monitoring setups in different sized rooms. Mackie HR824MK2 Studio Monitor Features High resolution Active studio reference monitor Ultra-linear frequency response for accurate mix translation 8.75-inch high-precision, low-distortion LF transducer 1-inch titanium dome, ferrofluid cooled tweeter Optimized Waveguide for wide, even sweet zone Twin FR Series amps a€" 150W for LF / 100W for HF Cast aluminum Zero Edge Baffle minimizes diffraction Full internal damping eliminates midrange artifacts Passive radiator provides tight, articulate bass extension down to 35Hz Acoustic Space, LF roll-off, and HF controls Balanced XLR, TRS, and unbalanced RCA inputs OmniMount ready for easy wall/ceiling placement THX pm3 certified for surround sound applications Perfect for High-Definition audio, cinema and gaming systems Zero Edge Baffle The new one-piece cast aluminum Zero Edge Baffle features precisely engineered curvature that minimizes diffraction for a crystal clear image of your mix, and effectively controls sound waves so you get detailed lows, full, articulate mids, and shimmering highs. The integrated Optimized Waveguide accurately and efficiently controls dispersion characteristics of the sound on and off axis, resulting in a wide sweet spot with smooth transitions from lows to highs. More inert than a wood or plastic baffle, the Zero Edge Bafflea€ s cast metal surface reduces surface vibrations during playback, thereby minimizing distortion to the sounda€ s waveforms; the result is improved time-domain characteristics, which equates to dramatically enhanced depth of field. Thanks to the design of the Zero Edge Baffle, the HRmk2a€ s imaging is stunningly accurate, with wide, even dispersion, and three-dimensional sound, delivering a much broader sweet spot than any other studio monitor on the marketa€"so broad, in fact, that we like to call it a sweet zone. Passive Radiator When you mount a loudspeaker in a box, there are two things that you can do with the radiation from the rear of the cone: use it to enhance the low-frequency performance of the speaker system (bass reflex system) or soak it up (acoustic suspension system). A bass reflex system uses the rear radiation to extend the low-frequency response; most systems provide holes (ports) in the front or back of the cabinet to release the rear wave. The H

KRK RP5GS Rokit G2 Powered Studio Monitor
KRK's Rokit G2 (Generation 2) powered studio monitor delivers amazing performance and accuracy for the home or project studio at a very accessible price. The G2 Rokit has radically curved edges which virtually eliminate diffraction and provides a wider sweet spot. The KRK RokitG2 Series takes value-priced monitors to a different performance level. All of the great stuff that Rokit monitors have been known for (front-firing bass port, soft-domed tweeter, glass aramid composite yellow cone) are still there, but the G2 Rokit studio monitors feature refined voicing and a curved baffle that looks great, reduces diffraction, and provides even better monitoring accuracy. Catch A Wave, For A 3D MixRecessed tweeters may look the same, but they don't perform the same. KRK has designed a superior tweeter wave guide for the Rokit monitor that provides optimal high frequency pattern control and focuses the sound outward, away from the cabinet. KRK appreciates the need for monitors that not only sound great but work easily into your particular set up. That's why you'll find plenty of input options with your Rokit monitor, sure to accommodate any studio environment. So if it's RCA, quarter-Inch (balanced/unbalanced) or XLR inputs you require, Rockit has got you covered. Even More Accurate Than Before KRK took a great monitor series and made it better. KRK's engineers and listening panel took the Generation 2 Rokits' speaker voicing to even more accurate levels. What you hear is what you are intended to hear, coloration is not part of the spec. This performance is brought to you by drivers that are custom-designed by KRKs world-class studio monitor engineering team, for clear, low-distortion performance. Behringer Truth B1030a Active Monitor (Single)
The Behringer TRUTH B1030A Reference Monitor speaks nothing but the truth. When it comes to your studio recordings, you want honesty. In fact, considering how important your art is, you should demand it! The TRUTH B1020A monitor also sounds great hooked up to your stereo or to your video surround system even though they were really built with studios in mindwhere every note you play or sing is under the microscope. Built on the Behringer Legacy Behringer's TRUTH B2030A and B2031A monitors offer the neutral sound of a true reference monitor. Ask any recording engineer and they will tell you that listening to a recording on just a single set of monitors doesn't always paint an accurate picture of the mix. Since people listen to music at home, in their cars, on MP3 players, etc, it is critical your final mix be heard on as many sizes and types of speakers as possible. That's the reason Behringer created these smaller B1030A monitors, plus they make ideal rear-channel speakers for surround sound applications. Years of Behringer R'n'D For the past 2 years Behringer's research and development team has been on a mission to create the "perfect" studio monitor. They tried a variety of transducers and enclosure designs, along with existing and emerging technologies. When all the dust settled, they chose to deploy an ultrahigh resolution 1" dome tweeter and a long-throw 5.25" Kevlar-coned woofer in the B1030A. Why Kevlar? Kevlar has an incredible strength-to-weight ratiothat's one reason it's used in bulletproof vests. Kevlar gives the LF transducer the strength to handle the extremely high energy levels required for distortion-free, chest-pounding bass. And since they have such low mass, Kevlar speaker cones also respond much more quickly than those made of paper, important for not only maintaining bass content integrity, but critical for midrange accuracy and definition. Behringer's Kevlar transducers reproduce even the subtlest nuance of the low-frequency realm without muddying the midrange. Power to the People It takes quite a bit more than just a "bulletproof" woofer and a high-tech tweeter stuck inside a fancy box to make a studio monitor of this class. It also takes powerand lots of it! But even more importantly, that power has to be matched to the individual high- and low-frequency transducers. Behringer builds every single component from the ground up. They packed 75 watts of biamped technology (including a time- and phase-corrected active crossover) into every B1030A, ensuring that you have the power reserves you'll need to drive them really hard. Designed to Work in Your EnvironmentThe ideal environment for listening is a room that is "flat," neither too reflective (echoes) nor too absorptive (where the sound is muffled). But since all rooms are not the same acoustically, all TRUTH monitors come equipped to function in a wide variety of situations. Switches are provided to adapt the monitor's low- and high-frequency characteristics for optimal p
